This exhibit is meant to have a broad approach to the history of well-known pandemics and epidemics such as the Black Death and COVID-19, as well as looking at pandemics and epidemics in popular culture (books, movies, and podcasts) and acknowledging past individuals who have advanced our understanding of pandemics and epidemics as well as more recent individuals like Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Explore what technologies and research trends have come about and what these advancements will mean for the future. What has been the Catholic Church's reponse locally as well as in Rome?
