The Evening Star

As one of the first women students in the studio art program at CU, Higgins studied with Kenneth Noland, who later helped establish the Washington Color School. This 1954 Evening Star article about Noland's design class includes an image of Helen Schrider Higgins and a chair she designed and constructed.
